PIRATES

The stories of Pirates and Privateers on the Delaware Coast.

CAPTAINS

The Delaware coastline served as a major trading route in the 16th and 17th centuries.

SEAWITCH

Mariners along the coast are familiar with the tales of the Seawitch, or the bad weather witch, blamed for the cause of violent storms and unforgiving tragedies.

SHIPWRECKS

Raging storms and dangerous shoals off the coast of Delaware have unfortunately cemented the fate for MANY seafaring vessels.

"Look to the lighthouse of the Lord. There is no fog so dense, no night so dark, no gale so strong, no mariner so lost but what its beacon light can rescue. It beckons through the storms of life. It calls, 'This way to safety; this way to home.”

SHARKS

“Look, Chief, you can't go off half-cocked looking for vengeance against a fish. That shark isn't evil. It's not a murderer. It's just obeying its own instincts. "
